The Hirschmann GRM20-ZZZZTTTTSZ9HHS Greyhound media module is an industrial Ethernet network media module designed for entry-level industrial automation applications. The GRM20-ZZZZTTTTSZ9HHS media module offers 8 fast FE/RJ45 Ethernet ports that support connections with twisted-pair cable up to 100 meters long to a Greyhound switch. Each RJ45 port supports auto-crossing, auto-negotiation, and auto-polarity functions. The GRM20-ZZZZTTTTSZ9HHS media module offers simplified setup and configuration via a serial interface or an integral USB configuration interface. The V.24 serial interface is an RJ45 socket for the local connection of external management stations such as the VT100 terminal or a PC with terminal emulation. The serial interface on the GRM20-ZZZZTTTTSZ9HHS media module allows the users to set up a connection to the Command Line Interface (CLI) and to a system monitor. The GRM20-ZZZZTTTTSZ9HHS media module also offers streamlined commissioning time via a USB port, which allows the users to store configuration data on an external flash-based device.
