The Hirschmann GPS3-PTVYHH Greyhound Power Supply Module is a rack-mounted power supply module with Power over Ethernet and switch capabilities. This power supply module is designed for the Hirschmann Greyhound switch and media module product line and it is compatible with the Greyhound 1040 series industrial switches. The GPS3-PTVYHH Power Supply Module supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) and switch options. It supports the Hirschmann innovative fanless design, which offers effective thermal management and provides higher MTBF (Mean Time Before Failure) ratings and reliable operation. The GPS3-PTVYHH Power Supply Module offers Power of Ethernet (PoE) capabilities to PoE PD devices. This allows the users to supply current to a terminal device and PoE-enabled devices such as an IP camera, wireless access points, and VoIP phones via a twisted pair cable that is also used for data transfers over the Ethernet network.

The Hirschmann GPS3-PTVYHH Greyhound Power Supply Module is designed to provide Power Over Ethernet (PoE) according to the IEEE 802.3af standard, and it is capable of delivering up to 15.4 Watts of power per twisted pair copper port. The GPS3-PTVYHH Power Supply Module also supports the PoE+ capability, which supplies up to 30 Watts of power to end devices by using all 4 twisted pair ports. The GPS3-PTVYHH Power Supply Module is designed to deliver a voltage rating between 48 and 54 Volts DC and it has a maximum power consumption rating of 180 Watts. The GPS3-PTVYHH Power Supply Module has an extended operating temperature range and a wide range of industry-standard approvals. It comes with an IP 30 ingress protection rating and it is designed to operate within a -40 to 70 degrees Celsius operating temperature range and a 5 to 95% non-condensing relative humidity range.
