The GPS1-KTVYHH module is a GREYHOUND power supply unit that has been designed and distributed by Hirschmann Automation to be specially used with the basic devices from the Greyhound rack mount switches and media modules product line. These switches are made for providing Ethernet connections with high data transfer rates to different devices within a system, plant, or factory. This power supply unit comes with a compact design that enables it to be installed in a cabinet that will reduce the risks of it being affected negatively by vibrations and shocks. The Hirschmann Automation GPS1-KTVYHH GREYHOUND power supply unit can provide the necessary power to the rack mount switches so they can perform all their functions properly. This power supply unit is designed to operate with the basic rack mount Ethernet switches, so for switches with PoE+ support, a different power supply unit must be used.

The Hirschmann Automation GPS1-KTVYHH GREYHOUND rack mount switches power supply unit provides a voltage range of 60 to 250 Volts DC to its host switch. This voltage must not be exceeded under any circumstance to guarantee the safety of the power supply unit and the equipment that is being used with it. It has been designed for operations with safety extra-low voltage or SELV. This power supply unit can be mounted along with the switch media modules.
