The RS20-0800T1T1TDAUHH Managed Switch belongs to the Hirschmann RS20 line of basic Ethernet rail switches. It is designed for special industrial automation applications. The RS20-0800T1T1TDAUHH Managed Switch is designed to provide high levels of reliability in applications in harsh industrial conditions. It features built-in thermal management capabilities without fans that provide operational flexibility and keep the device cool in extreme industrial environments. The RS20-0800T1T1TDAUHH Managed Switch has 6 standard RJ45 Fast Ethernet ports and 2 twisted pair uplink Ethernet ports. It provides the users with the ability to provide a switched Ethernet network that conforms to the 802.3 standards to any topology via copper cables or fiber-optic cables. The RS20-0800T1T1TDAUHH Managed Switch supports the store and forward switching modes for reliable traffic transmission. The RS20-0800T1T1TDAUHH Managed Switch has a compact design that fits into tight-space applications and saves operation costs.
The RS20-0800T1T1TDAUHH Managed Switch offers software management capabilities. The users can monitor the bandwidth utilization, visualize the network status, detect the available devices on the network, and configure multiple switches simultaneously by using the HiVision network management software. The RS20-0800T1T1TDAUHH Managed Switch also supports the HiView configuration tools which offers the users the benefits of a web interface without any browser and it works directly from a USB flash device. The port numbers and IP addresses can be assigned using the HiDiscovery software configuration tool, eliminating the need for serial port configuration. The application data and switch operating system (OS) can be stored on a USB flash drive and transferred to the RS20-0800T1T1TDAUHH Managed Switch by using the USB configuration interface. The RS20-0800T1T1TDAUHH Managed Switch supports a redundant power supply and it has an operating voltage rating of 24 to 48 Volts DC or 18 to 30 Volts AC. The RS20-0800T1T1TDAUHH Managed Switch has an extended operating temperature range (-40 to 70 degrees Celsius) option, and it is cUL508, and cUL1604 Class 1 Div 2 approved.
