The MM4-4TX/SFP managed Ethernet switch is part of the Hirschmann PowerMICE product line because it is an industrial switch that can be plugged into different kinds of media modules for communication. It comes with 1 slot that can host a 1-Gigabit module and with 4 slots that can host 10-Mbits per second or 100-Mbits per second modules. Additionally, the port for the 1-Gigabit module can support 2 Gigabit ports at a time. Each module of any kind that is connected to the MM4-4TX/SFP PowerMICE managed Ethernet switch provides 2 to 4 additional ports to the whole system.
The Hirschmann MM4-4TX/SFP PowerMICE managed Ethernet switch is designed to operate in applications in different industrial automation systems. It meets all of the relevant standards for industrial automation equipment and it is designed to be reliable even under extreme conditions and to be flexible and easy to upgrade. Its voltage is supplied redundantly to reduce the risk of power failures and it is easy to mount by simply snapping it onto a DIN Rail. The MM4-4TX/SFP PowerMICE managed Ethernet switch is protected from current overloads by a non-replaceable fuse. Its operating voltage rating is 24 Volts DC and its ambient operating temperature range is from -40 to 70 degrees Celsius with 10 to 95% non-condensing ambient relative humidity levels.
