The MM4-2TX/SFP media module is a Hirschmann manufactured media module for the Hirschmann PowerMICE managed switches. These switches are used in medium-sized networks to maximize the system uptime and to improve the network connectivity. It is an effective solution that is designed to handle different application demands. This media module houses 2 different 100Base ports for Ethernet and communication connections. These ports each have their own LED indicators that show the current running status of the ports. The module can be mounted on the managed switch backplane. Additionally, the operating voltage is supplied through this backplane. The enclosure of the module has an IP 20 protection rating. The MM4-2TX/SFP media module uses a SFP Fx port connector. The module comes with enhanced features including auto crossing, auto negotiation, and auto polarity features. It consumes a total of 5.8 Watts power and dissipates 19.8 BTU per hour of heat during operation The front side of the module hosts the status indicator LEDs.
