The MM2-4TX1 module is a Hirschmann-manufactured PowerMICE media module. It is used in communication and data transfer applications within the network. The module is equipped with four 10/100 BaseTX Ethernet ports. The module supports the auto crossing, auto negotiation, and auto polarity functions that can handle different application demands. The operating voltage of the media module is supplied from the backplane of the host PowerMICE switch. The module uses a twisted pair cable with a length of up to 100 meters depending on the application. The MM2-4TX1 media module has a power consumption rating of 0.8 Watts. The power output of the media module is 2.8 BTU per hour as heat. The front side of the module houses the diagnostics LED indicators that show different status updates including power, link status, data, and ring port status updates. The operating temperature should be set between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius and can the storage temperature shoud be between -40 and 70 degrees Celsius.
