The GECKO 8TX managed switch is an 8-port Ethernet switch from the Lite product line that has been designed and manufactured by Hirschmann. The GECKO 8TX Lite managed switch does not have a fan for cooling itself down, but it can operate safely in a temperature range of -40 to 60 degrees Celsius in harsh environments. The switch’s storage and transport temperature range is from -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity rating for the GECKO 8TX Lite managed switch for operation, storage, and transport is 5 to 95% without condensation. The environmental protection rating for this managed switch is IP 30. It is meant to be mounted on a DIN Rail along with its terminal block, and both pieces of equipment are easy to install with their “plug-and-play” features.
