The BRS20-8TX/2FX-HL managed switch is a Hirschmann BOBCAT manufactured industrial managed Ethernet switch. It is a compact unit that helps to enable real-time communication via TSN. It helps to address the increasing communication requirements of modern industries. It supports expanded bandwidth capabilities and helps to adjust the SFP from 1 to 2.5 Gigabits without making any physical changes to the machine. The BRS20-8TX/2FX-HL managed switch runs with a voltage rating of 12 to 24 Volts DC with a power consumption rating of 8 Watts. It has a rated power output of 27 BTU per hour of energy as heat. This switch variant is equipped with a single terminal block each for the digital input and power supply and for a total of 2 terminal blocks. The power supply terminal block comes with a 6-pin connector while the digital input terminal block has a 2-pin connector. For local management and easy configuration, the front side of the switch has a USB Type C port.
