The OS30-0008024B4BTREPHH switch is an IEEE 802.3 certified Hirschmann OCTOPUS family managed DIN Rail Ethernet switch. It supports electrical Fast Ethernet communication and Fast Ethernet communication over fiber-optic cables (100BASE-FX). The switch has a total of 8 Fast Ethernet (10/100 Mbit/s) ports (M12 D-coding, RJ45 connectors) and 2 Gigabit Ethernet (1000 Mbit/s) single-mode type ports as per the ISO/IEC 63076-3-106 standards. The twisted-pair (10/100 BASE-TX) ports support auto-negotiation, auto-polarity, and auto-crossing functions. The enclosure of the switch is waterproof and dust-resistant with a protection class rating of IP 67 according to the IEC specifications. The OS30-0008024B4BTREPHH switch is available with Layer 2Pprofessional HiOS (Hirschmann’s Operating System) software which offers professional diagnostics, configuration redundancy, and security functionalities that help to protect networks from attacks and operational errors. A V.24 serial interface is present on the front face of the switch which allows the users to locally manage the device.
