The OZDV 2471 G converter is an interface converter for the FiberINTERFACES series interface devices. It has been designed and manufactured by Hirschmann. The OZDV 2471 G interface converter is an optical/electrical type of interface converter that allows an optical interface and an electrical interface to both be connected to the same network. This network is a quartz glass type of fiber optic network that can cover medium communication distances. The OZDV 2471 G interface converter connects to interfaces and other devices through multimode fiber cables that are available in different lengths with different link budgets. The multimode fiber cables supported by this converter include 0 to 6700-meter cables with link budgets of 23 dB, 0 to 6600-meter cables with link budgets of 26 dB, and 0 to 3100-meter cables with link budgets of 28 dB.
The Hirschmann FiberINTERFACES series OZDV 2471 G optical/electrical interface converter has a protective enclosure that is made out of die-cast zinc and that provides it with an environmental protection rating of IP 40. This converter is usually mounted on a terminal through a Sub-D socket connector. However, it can also be mounted on a DIN Rail with adapters if necessary. The OZDV 2471 G interface converter’s ambient operating temperature range is from -20 to 50 degrees Celsius, and its storage temperature range is from -20 to 70 degrees Celsius.
