The OZD Profi 12M P12 PRO Repeater Module is an optical repeater module manufactured by Hirschmann in the FiberINTERFACES series. It is used to perform the signal conversion between electrical to optical signals and the reverse conversion as well. The OZD Profi 12M P12 PRO Repeater Module can be used in optical PROFIBUS fieldbus networks. Each optical port contains one measuring output. Some of the features of the module include redundant ring support, mutually independent ports, a redundant feed, a female 9-pole Sub-D socket, BFOC connectors, and multicolored indicator LEDs. It provides malfunction reports as an accumulative signal through the signaling contacts.
