The OZD Profi 12M G11-1300 PRO Repeater Module is a FiberINTERFACES series repeater that has been designed by Hirschmann. It comes with 3 mutually independent ports which have pure transmitting and pure receiving components. In order to increase the availability of the network, a redundant network configuration can be used with this repeater module. The mechanical structure of the module includes a plastic housing, an IP 20 protection rating, and DIN Rail mounting hardware. The OZD Profi 12M G11-1300 PRO Repeater Module can be used in a range of network topologies such as the line, star, or ring topologies or in an arbitrary combination of these network topologies. It allows for the easy combining of the basic topologies to build an efficient network for specific applications.  

The OZD Profi 12M G11-1300 PRO Repeater Module is specifically designed for the Profibus networks. It has redundant ring support for providing increased fail-safety in the field bus network. The main specifications of the module include a -7 to 12 Volts DC input voltage range, an 18 to 32 Volts DC maximum operating voltage range, and 4.8 Watts of rated power consumption. It weighs 200 grams. This OZD Profi 12M G11-1300 PRO electrical/optical interface converter module has 2 optical ports with 4 BFOC sockets. It must be installed in a suitable enclosure with an IP 54 protection rating. It can be installed on a DIN Rail. It is powered by 24 Volts DC typical voltage. The front of the module has indicator LEDs for diagnostic purposes. This module is fitted with an RS 485 electrical channel with a female 9-pin Sub-D socket. Its RS 485 interface is electrically connected to the function ground.
