Product Overview
The Cisco WS-C3750X-48PF-L networking device features four optional uplink network modules featuring GE and 10 GE ports. As it is completely stackable, there are 48 10/100/1000 Ethernet PoE+ ports which are suitable for all kinds of complex networking operations. With the support of switch to switch hardware encryption and flexible NetFlow technology, the switch delivers 64 Gbps of throughput.
Being a LAN base feature set, the device can be configured by using Cisco IOS LAN Base software image which can be downloaded from the Cisco official website.
Power Supply
The device has one built in power supply. For additional networking requirements, users can connect an additional redundant power supply which can be purchased separately.
Power Capacity
1100W AC power supply has been attached with the Cisco WS-C3750X-48PF-L 1RU unit. With the connectivity of 48 port full PoE switch, the recommended power capacity is 800W.
Stacking
The allowed stacking capacity is 9 maximum units in a stack for which users need to purchase the Stack Power cables separately. All of the 48 10/100/1000 Ethernet UPOE ports are fully stackable for which the device needs to be configured with the Cisco StackWise Plus Technology.
Configuration
WS-C3750X-48PF-L includes 48 switch ports which are completely manageable and stackable. With benefits such as layer 2 switching, ARP support and dynamic IP address assignment, users can completely configure the networking switch by the help of Cisco IOS Lan Base Software Image. Being SFP compatible, users must regularly update the firmware to avoid any kind of malfunction.
Technical Specifications
Being a Gigabit Ethernet device, there are 48 x 10/100/1000 ports which give a jumbo frame support of 9216 bytes. Coming over to the hardware, the networking switch has 128 MB of flash memory combined with a 256 MB DRAM. For better and reliable networking performance, Redundant Power System (RPS) connector and Hot Swap module replacement technology has now been introduced in the Cisco WS-C3750X-48PF-L series switches.
