WS-C3560X-48PF-L switch has 48 Gigabit Ethernet ports. It is a separate switch with PoE+ ports in LAN Base selection. It has a redundant power supply with MAC hardware based security. The switch is typically deployed in enterprises as a Layer 2 only or a multi-layer switch.

Cisco 3560-X has 48 Power over Ethernet ports. There are 4 uplinks. The switch provisions StackWise technology allows multiple switches to be stacked one on top of another using cisco’s proprietary stack cables. Up to 9 switches can be stacked using this technology which increases the switch capabilities. The management is easy through the use of a single management IP address, auto-configuration. One master switch is selected per stack. The slave switches are able to copy the iOS running on the master switch. A total of 1005 VLANs can be configured in the switch.
