The switch is controlled via a specialized Cisco IOS software that increases the overall efficiency of the network.
Power Supply
By default, the switch is provided with one 1100 W Power supply. However, WS-C3560X-24U-S can be mounted up to 2 redundant AC power supplies, each of them 1100W. This makes the switch distribute even more power to other devices.
Power Capacity
The switch has 24 UPOE ports. UPOE is a patented Cisco technology that allows the switch to distribute twice as much power as any usual PoE+ port. So, WS-C3560X-24U-S provides 60 W per port. In order to power all the equipment, it needs, the ports take up to 800 W of the power supply capacity.

This switch is a standalone design, so it cannot be stacked with other switches, however, it can still serve in a single networking module via the Cisco Chassis, if required.

WS-C3560X-24U-S has 256 MB DRAM and 64 MB Flash memory that is more than enough for its purposes. The forwarding rate of the switch through two 10 Gb Uplinks is 65.5 mpps. Switch dimensions: 1.75 x 17.5 x 19.5 inches (4.45 x 44.5 x 49.5 cm). The weight: 15.9 pounds (7.9 kg).
Tech Support and Services
Hardware Networking has a warranty for almost all of its products. However, Cisco Smartnet services offer their own support too. To make the installation and setting up of the system easier, all the guides, datasheets, manuals are published on the Cisco website. In addition, the site has a support service, where a competent specialist can answer all the questions you might have.

The WS-C3560X-24U-S is a modern networking solution. Its end-of-life (eol) was scheduled to the 2016 but the switch will be supported for 5 more years (eos is at 2021). This switch is ideal for high power devices to be connected to the network as it can provide power for them, thus considerably decreasing the amount of wires required in the system.
