Product Overview
The Cisco WS-C3560X-24P-E switch is a 24 Gigabit standalone switch with advanced security and management features. It supports dual redundant power supplies and comes with one default power supply with the additional capability of additional power supplies to achieve power redundancy. It has IP service feature set which can provide 1005 VLANs as well as many other features.
Performance Specifications
All the switches of the Cisco 3560X series offer 160Gbps switching fabric with a Jumbo Frame of 9216 Bytes. The forwarding rate for the WS-C3560X-24P-E is 65.5 mpps. It also features 256Mb of DRAM and 64MB Flash memory.
Series configuration and power
It employs 24 PoE+ Ethernet ports. The switch has a 715W default AC power supply as well as 435W of available PoE power. It has the IP Services feature set. This feature set offers advanced Layer 3 features. These include Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Border Gateway Protocol, IPv6 routing as well as Open Shortest Path First.

The WS-C3560X-24P-E has H x W x D dimensions of 1.75 x 17.5 x 18.0 inches or 4.45 x 44.5 x 46 mm. Its weight is 15.7lb or 7.1kg.
Extra section
For the Cisco 3560X series, Cisco will provide support till October 31 2021. After this date, the product becomes obsolete and support services for it are not available. The last date to extend the contract is January 28, 2021. The end of life announcement for WS-C3560X-24P-E was October 31, 2015.
