Power information
The Cisco Catalyst WS-C3560G-24PS-S provides users with options of either an internal power supply or the Cisco RPS 2300 power supply through a RPS port. The internal power supply is an auto ranging unit and supports input voltages between 100 and 240 Volts (V) of Alternating Current (AC) at a frequency ranging between 50 - 60 Hz. The switch has a MTBF (Mean Time between Failure) rated 186,300 hours with a total power consumption of 540 Watts measured at 100 % throughput. It dissipates 170 Watts (W) of power at 534 BTUs per hour with 370 watts dedicated to PoE. The power rating of the Cisco Catalyst WS-C3560G-24PS-S is set at 0.52 kVA.

January 31, 2012 was the end of life (eol) date announced for the Cisco WS-C3560G-24PS-S (a 24-port PoE switch) after which it would be replaced. The replacement is the WS-C3560X-24P-S, a Cisco Catalyst 3560X 24 Port PoE and runs on the IP Base. The eos (end of sale) for this product is set at January 30, 2013 while the end of support is January 31, 2018. Up to 70 % off the original Cisco list price can be offered.
