The Cisco Catalyst WS-C3560-24PS-E is an enterprise-class fixed configuration network switch. It is ideal for small enterprises as it offers outstanding reliability, scalability and brings the investments back in full. This multilayer switch model supports the PoE+ technology and enables the network to use such modern features as Ip calls, video surveillance and building management systems.
Power Supply
WS-C3560-24PS-E is powered by a 435 W AC power supply. The switch itself uses less power and the rest is distributed between the devices connected to it.
Power Capacity
This switch uses the Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+) technology. It is a useful feature that can be used to power some of the devices that are connected to the network. You don’t need any additional wiring, just a free Gigabyte port in the switch (which has as much as 24 of them) and one connector. Each port distributes up to 15.4 W of power.
Stacking
The Cisco C3560 switches are a fixed-configuration standalone series. It means that the switches do not stack with each other, however, you can still create a larger unit using specialized Cisco chassis.

This model of the switch has 128 MB DRAM and a 32 Gbps forwarding bandwidth. Its 16 MB of Flash memory is more than enough to carry out its switching operations. The switch can be configured to support up to 12 000 MAC addresses.

The switch is a reliable Cisco solution, that has proved itself again and again. Its end of sale (eos) was in 2011 and its end of support (eos) is in 2016, however, you can still download the latest supported Ios version from the Cisco Website.
