The WS-C2960XR-48TD-I belongs to the Cisco Catalyst 2960XR series of switches. It is a stackable Gigabit Ethernet switch that has a fixed configuration and provides enterprise-class access for branch and campus applications. It is available at a great discount on our store together with a rack for mounting.
Switch Models and Configurations
The ‘Cisco Catalyst WS-C2960XR-48TD-I’ supports the FlexStack-Plus and FlexStack-Extended capabilities. There is no PoE power available. It uses Cisco IP Lite Software image and contains 24 Ethernet ports as well as 2 SFP+ Uplink Interfaces on the front panel.
Technical Specifications
With a 600 MHz dual core processor you have 128MB Flash Memory available. It has a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Network management interface with a forwarding bandwidth of 108 Gbps and a switching bandwidth of 216 Gbps. Power Management
The Cisco 2960-XR switches are amongst the greenest switches around. They use the Switch Hibernation Mode (SHM) for efficient power management resulting in lower energy costs for the operators. The IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet allows it to sense idle periods of operation and switch quickly between interfaces and go into idle mode, thus saving a lot of energy.
