Product Overview
The Cisco WS-C2960X-48TD-L configuration switches are high-quality devices for enterprise-class networks. They can be stacked using Flexstack technologies so that a large number of users can be connected to the network. Switches are controlled via special Cisco IOS Lan Base software to ensure stable and reliable connection.
Power Supply
WS-C2960X-48TD-L has a fixed power supply as well as a redundant external power supply (optional), which will turn on in case of power shortage and prevent any damage to the circuits. The default power supply for this switch is PWR-C2-250WAC. It supports 100-240 V voltage.
Power Capacity
This model of the Cisco Switch does not use PoE ports and its average power consumption is at 47.1 W.
Configurations
WS-C2960X-48TD-L is equipped with 48 RJ-45 ports that support Ethernet Gigabit. It has SFP+ compatibility from its 2 uplink interfaces but can also be used in SFP uplink interfaces too.
Stacking
Cisco switches use the FlexStack-Plus stacking system as an option. It means that up to 8 switches can be joined into one block using flexible stacks. Since WS-C2960X-48TD-L uses Lan Base software, the bandwidth of the stack will be 80 Gbps. Flexstack-Plus system is compatible with simple Flexstack devices, so there will be no problem in adding new switches to older stack versions. In some cases, it may be required to stack some switches that are away from the wiring-closet. Flexstack Extended helps here. The bandwidth of the extended stack is 40Gbps. The stacking cable can be up to 3 m long.
Tech Specs
The WS-C2960X-48TD-L Switch hardware for Lan Base IOS uses 128 MB Flash memory, 512 MB of DRAM; APM86392 600 MHz dual core CPU, USB and RJ-45 ports for console and USB ports for flash storage. Their Network Management Interface is Rj-45 as well.
