Product Overview
Cisco catalyst WS-C2960X-24TD-L series is equipped with 24 Ethernet setup along with 2 * 10G SFP+ uplink interfaces which provide a stack bandwidth of up to 80G. Along with easy device configuration and troubleshooting, the switch now features FlexStack-Plus and FlexStack-Extended capability operating over the LAN Base Cisco IOS Software. With better scalability and network reliability, WS-C2960X-24TD-L switch can be completely configured with the support of layer 3 and PoE+ as well.
Power Supply
The Cisco WS-C2960X-24TD-L supports both External and Dual redundant power supplies. Although the packaging only includes one fixed power supply, but the second power source can be purchased as a spare to ensure proper backup.
Power Capacity
As the switch is designed for mid-market and fresh level business, power input is managed through redundant Power System (RPS) connecter which requires a minimum power consumption frequency of 50/60 Hz along with a nominal voltage of AC 120/230 V to operate normally.
Configurations
WS-C2960X-24TD-L catalyst switch features 24 Ethernet ports which are operated through LAN Base Cisco IOS Software image. As it supports 2SFP+ uplink interfaces and SFP compatibility, users can also update the system software for better performance. For installation details, configuration guide for the respective switch model can be consulted which also contain firmware updates.
Stacking
The switch offers stackable capacity which supports up to 8 switches stacking for which users can select any one from FlexStack-Plus and FlexStack Extented. Once connected to a stack, the device will automatically upgrate to the stack’s Cisco IOS Software version to avoid any vulnerabilities. FlexStack-Plus offers 80Gbps Stack bandwidth along with a stack limit of 8 whereas the FlexStack Extended supports 40Gbps Stack bandwidth which has a stack limit fixed to 8.

Cisco WS-C2960X-24TD-L catalyst switch is designed to deliver high end performance and reliability for networking purposes. Equipped with a 512 RAM and 128MB of flash memory, the switch delivers 95.2Mpps forwarding performance along with a switching bandwidth of 216Gbps. Moreover, the rack mountable has dimensions set to 44.5cm x 27.9cm x 4.45cm along with a total package weight of 9.19kg.
