WS-C3560X-48P-L switch is a 48 Gig Ethernet port switch. It is a standalone switch with PoE+ ports in LAN Base option and no stacking method. It has Dual redundant modular power supply with Media Access Control Security hardware based protection. It is basically designed for enterprise level access layer switching for borderless usage.
Features
Cisco 3560-X has 48 Power of Ethernet ports. There are 4 port uplinks. The switch supports StackWise technology which allows multiple switches to be added, removed and redeployed while keeping the performance constant without performance interruption. Up to 9 switches can be stacked using this technology. The management is simplified by the use of a single management IP address, auto-configuration, single telnet/SSH session. One master switch is elected per stacked automatically. All switches in the stack are able to upgrade to the iOS version of the master Switch. total of 1005 VLANs can be configured in the switch.

WS-C3560X-48P-L is a plug-in module with redundant power supply with 1 or 2 can be installed. The voltage required is AC 120 to 230 V at frequencies from 50 to 60 Hz.
It has a default power supply C3KX-PWR-715WAC and 435W of available PoE Power.

Hardware Specifications
There are LED indicators to show Port status, link activity, Power system, port duplex mode, port transmission and speed port. Expansion slot is available in this model switch from Cisco. This device is installed with Cisco IOS LAN Base. Four optional uplink network are given with GE ports. Flash space of 64 MB is available.
Features and Benefits
The switch offers multiple links to be grouped together forming EtherChannels for redundancy and throughput with the help of link aggregation protocols such as PAgP (Port aggregation protocol) and LACP (Link Aggregation Control protocol) . DTP , Dynamic Trunking protocols, facilitates automatic Trunk link configurations across all switch ports. DHCP, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol enables the devices to be assigned an IP address automatically upon joining the network . Multicast routing (PIM) is also supported by the switch. HSRP or Hot standby routing protocol allows for redundancy in the network topology in the event of a device failure.
The switch has several Layer 2 security features such as Port Security, Dynamic ARP inspection, DHCP snooping, IP source guard etc. Authentication is possible through TACACS+ and RADIUS protocols. Private VLANs enable the Layer 2 broadcast traffic to be isolated. Access Lists can be configured on VLANs and though ingress and egress direction of the switch ports.
