The Arista DCS-7150S-24-CLD switch is one of the many members of the Arista 7150S series of switches. It is a low latency 1 RU 1/10 GbE Layer 2, Layer 3 and Layer 4 wire speed switch. It is manufactured by the Arista networks.
Technical specifications
The Arista DCS-7150S-24-CLD is enhanced for a very low latency (350 nanosecond) cut-through forwarding with a throughput of 480 Gbps and a packet rate of 360 Mpps. It features 24 x 1/10 GbE SFP+ ports. It runs on a dual core x 86 CPU with 4 GB system memory and 2 GB flash memory. It comes with 4 (N + 1) hot-swappable fans with reversible airflow option. 9.5 MB of memory is allocated to the packet buffer while the SSD storage is up 50 MB. The DCS-7150S-24-CLD also comes with one 100/1000 Mgmt ports, one USB port and one RS-232 serial ports (RJ-45). Its dimensions (D x H x W) are: 16 x 1.75 x 19 inches (40.64 x 4.4 x 44.5 cm) and weighs about 18 pounds (8.18 kg). The security features on the Arista DCS-7150S-24-CLD switch include: DHCP Relay / Snooping, Ingress/Egress ACLs using L2, L3, L4 fields, RADIUS and ACL Logging and Counters.
